Buffalo Co. Salon & Barber in Temecula, California, was named a “Salon of Distinction” in SALON TODAY’s 2019 “Salons of the Year” interior design competition, recognizing its exceptional design and beauty experience. We are proud of the creative enviroment we have cultivated through design.

Located in the historic Vail Headquarters shopping center, Buffalo Co. upholds the rustic industrial ambiance of the mid-1800s with a touch of modern sophistication.
MEET THE
OWNERS
Travis Mitchell has been in the hair industry for over 15 years. Fashion and music heavily influence his sense of style. He enjoys using his hands to create art in many different formats. He loves meeting new people and prides himself on excellent listening skills and attention to detail. He believes that communication is the foundation of building a relationship with his clients and that solid relationship allows him to create the best hairstyle for his clients’ individual needs. He loves the challenge of analyzing face shape, skin tone, and a person’ unique style to come up with a personalized look that works for the client’s lifestyle. Travis specializes in men’s haircutting but also excels at women’s cuts of all lengths. He has styled hair for many photo and video shoots in California and Tennessee. He hopes to pursue more editorial opportunities in the future. Travis believes education is vital to staying current on techniques and trends. As the owner of both Buffalo Co. Salons in Temecula, CA and Columbia, TN, Travis and his wife are dedicated to creating a community of passionate hair artists with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. He thanks God for the chance to do what he loves every day…rad hair!
